Frequently Asked Questions

GENERAL QUESTIONS

What services does MAS Onsite Services provide?
MAS Onsite Services provides portable sanitation, waste management, and temporary storage solutions throughout Georgia and the Southeast. Our services include standard and flushable portable toilets, luxury restroom trailers, wheelchair-accessible restrooms, hand wash stations, roll-off dumpsters, dumpster trailers, jobsite storage containers, refrigerated storage units, and junk removal services.
What areas do you serve?
We serve the greater Atlanta metropolitan area and surrounding regions throughout Georgia, including Fulton, DeKalb, Gwinnett, Cobb, Clayton, Cherokee, Forsyth, Henry, Douglas, and Rockdale counties. We also service parts of Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Florida for larger projects. Contact us for availability in your specific location.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 48–72 hours in advance for standard rentals. For large events, construction projects, or peak season (spring and summer), we suggest booking 1–2 weeks ahead to ensure availability. Emergency and same-day delivery may be available depending on your location and current inventory.
Do you offer long-term rental discounts?
Yes! We offer competitive monthly rates for all equipment. Long-term construction projects, ongoing commercial needs, and multi-unit rentals qualify for volume discounts. Contact our team for a custom quote tailored to your project timeline and requirements.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), checks, ACH bank transfers, and purchase orders for approved commercial accounts. Payment terms can be arranged for qualifying businesses with established credit.
Are delivery and pickup included in the rental price?
Delivery and pickup fees are calculated separately based on distance from our depot. Standard delivery starts at $150 minimum or $3.00 per loaded mile, whichever is greater. We provide transparent pricing with no hidden fees—your quote will include all delivery costs upfront.

PORTABLE RESTROOM QUESTIONS

How often are portable restrooms serviced?
Standard servicing is once per week, which includes pumping waste, cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces, restocking toilet paper and hand sanitizer, and deodorizing the unit. For high-traffic events or construction sites with 10+ workers, we recommend twice-weekly or daily servicing. Custom service schedules are available upon request.
How many portable restrooms do I need for my event?
As a general guideline: 1 unit per 50 guests for a 4-hour event, 1 unit per 35 guests for an 8-hour event, and 1 unit per 10 workers on a construction site (per OSHA requirements). For events serving alcohol, add 20% more units. We're happy to help you calculate the right number—just call us with your event details.
What is the difference between standard and flushable portable toilets?
Standard portable toilets use a chemical holding tank and are ideal for construction sites and outdoor work areas. Flushable portable toilets feature a foot-pump flushing mechanism, a freshwater tank, and a more residential feel—making them perfect for weddings, corporate events, and upscale outdoor gatherings where guest comfort is a priority.
Do you offer Accessible restrooms?
Yes. Our wheelchair-accessible portable restrooms feature over 16 square feet of interior space, a wide self-closing door with barrier-free ground-level entry, interior handrails, assist grab rails, and a clean modern exterior. They meet Accessible accessibility requirements and are available for both short-term events and long-term construction projects.
What are restroom trailers and when should I use them?
Restroom trailers are climate-controlled, multi-station units with flushing toilets, running water sinks, mirrors, lighting, and premium finishes. Available in 4, 6, and 10-station configurations, they're ideal for weddings, galas, corporate events, VIP areas, and any occasion where you want to provide a luxury restroom experience comparable to indoor facilities.

DUMPSTER RENTAL QUESTIONS

What size dumpster do I need?
We offer roll-off dumpsters in 10, 15, 20, 30, and 40 cubic yard sizes. A 10-yard dumpster is great for small cleanouts and minor renovations. A 20-yard is our most popular size for home remodels and medium construction projects. A 30 or 40-yard dumpster is ideal for large construction sites, commercial demolition, and major cleanout projects. Our team can help you choose the right size based on your project scope.
What can I put in a dumpster?
Accepted materials include general construction debris, household junk, furniture, appliances, yard waste, roofing materials, drywall, concrete, and most non-hazardous waste. Prohibited items include hazardous materials, chemicals, paint, tires, batteries, asbestos, and medical waste. If you're unsure about a specific item, contact us and we'll advise you.
How long can I keep the dumpster?
Standard rental periods are 7 days for residential projects and 30 days for construction sites. Extensions are available at a daily rate. We also offer flexible long-term rentals for ongoing construction projects with monthly billing. Need it picked up early? No problem—just call us and we'll schedule a pickup within 24 hours.
What is a dumpster trailer and how is it different from a roll-off?
A dumpster trailer is a towable waste container on wheels, typically 10–15 cubic yards, that can be positioned in tight spaces like driveways, parking lots, or residential streets without the need for a large roll-off truck. They're ideal for roofing jobs, small renovations, and locations where a standard roll-off dumpster won't fit. Roll-off dumpsters are larger (10–40 yards) and require a specialized truck for delivery.
Do I need a permit for a dumpster?
If the dumpster is placed on your private property (driveway, yard, or parking lot), no permit is typically required. If it needs to be placed on a public street or right-of-way, you may need a permit from your local municipality. We can help guide you through the permit process for your specific area.
